Protection and Self-Destruction Mode

It can be helpful in situations involving data extortion or similar activities

Chat, Group, and Channel Protection

For additional privacy, Maze enables users to secure their chats, groups and channels with individually chosen passwords or to even hide them completely. To guarantee that sensitive communications remain secured, users can assign unique passwords to different conversations and folders. As they are the key to accessing protected content, it’s crucial for users to remember the passwords for each secured chat.

Self-Destruction Mode for Emergency Data Erasure

Users are required to create a self-destruction password during the registration process. In case of emergencies like data extortion or unauthorized access, this special password enables users to instantly erase all account data and history. To effectively safeguard their information from potential threats, once the self-destruction password is entered, users can be assured that no trace of their communications or account remains.

To provide both flexibility of data control as well as a quick and secure solution to erase it when necessary, Maze utilizes this dual-layer protection system accordingly.
